All Because of You (Yes, You!)

Hi, guys! I cannot tell you how awesome all of the comments and emails from you are. Thank you for finding me on here and making me so happy! (Pretend there is a smiley emoticon here.) Hearing from you and knowing that you love my books is . . .

. . . the reason I write. IT IS ALL BECAUSE OF YOU!

People have been asking what I’m working on lately. Right now I am writing a trilogy about a sheltered princess who chooses death by dragon over an arranged marriage to a prince from a rival kingdom. The story has sword fighting, romance, dragons, bravery, and violence. The first one is called TRANSFERENCE. If you like my other books, you’ll probably like this trilogy (and yes, I am doing three books in this series for all of you who keep writing and begging me to do a third STUNG book). It comes out next year.

Three random facts about my week:

  1. I never answer my landline (you know–the phone that plugs into the wall!). In fact, it is ringing right now.
  2. My baby stepped in a dead, chewed up mouse. Thanks, cats, for cleaning up after yourselves–NOT!
  3. I have gotten so many emails from readers this week that every time I open my email, it is like Christmas! Thanks, guys!

  1. I loved the Stung and Cured books 🙂 I want to know whatever happens to Jonah, and if Jacqui’s family come to the settlement, and if the cure is ever spread throughout the world, and if Jacqui and Kevin get married, and whatever happens to Kevin’s sister, and what other details would make an AWESOME ACTION PACKED ROMANTIC third book! I am seriously requesting a third book, pretty please, or at least some short stories?

    1. Thank you Lauren! This outpouring of love for my books is so awesome! If I do a third book, it will definitely be action and romance packed. Short stories are a lot easier. Those I can do . . . when I have finished what I am currently working on.

  2. Please please please make a third book!!!!! Stung and cured are the best books I have ever read. I just finished cured and the book has me in tears! I love it so much and I am buying both of the books, and you ended it on a part where you could write another book. So please think about it!!! ;D

  3. Bethany your third book should be about all of the main characters further life and switch perspectives every chapter.

P.s. Let me know what you think!!!!!!! 👍🏻

    1. That is a really cool idea. At this point, I think I would do it from Jonah’s perspective, but you never know. I am sort of a spontaneous writer. I think I will do something one way, and then I do it the opposite.

  4. Thank you Bethany! You were my inspiration to write books as well!

When I was in middle school, I won a state prize for writing the best book

  5. Hi Bethany! I was just wondering what the setting of the Stung series is. Does it take place in the United States or in a dystopian setting such as Panem from the Hunger Games? I haven’t read Cured yet, but I definitely plan to soon.

I was also wondering how you made your website. It’s so cool! 🙂

  6. I LOVED Stung and Cured they where amazing and I really hope you make a third book to the stung series. I think it would be interesting to see Jonahs perspective of the whole thing and maybe he can find love?

  7. hey bethany i was just checking on your website to see if anything new was on here and i found this i am amazed that u are talking about ur book that only u talked to me about the first time and i now have my own email so that way you can email me i also have my phone # if the email doesnt work AGAIN

    1. Ha ha, Hunter–nice to hear from you again. Clink on the link on this website that says contact and send me a message there. It goes to my email and I will reply. 🙂

    1. SHIFTING:

After bouncing from foster home to foster home, Magdalene Mae is transferred to what should be her last foster home in the tiny town of Silver City, New Mexico. Now that she’s eighteen and has only a year left in high school, she’s determined to stay out of trouble and just be normal.

Agreeing to go to the prom with Bridger O’Connell is a good first step. Fitting in has never been her strong suit, but it’s not for the reasons most people would expect-it all has to do with the deep secret that she is a shape shifter. But even in her new home danger lurks, waiting in the shadows to pounce. They are the Skinwalkers of Navajo legend, who have traded their souls to become the animal whose skin they wear-and Maggie is their next target.

  8. Are you ever going to make a second book to shifting? I bought it at my local library curious as to how it would be. I finished it in a day and completely fell in love! I would love to read more!

    1. Alyssa, If I make a Shifting 2, it won’t be for a very long while. I’m sorry. I am glad you loved that book! I love it too.

  9. Hi Bethany I just read stung and cured and honestly they were the best books I have ever read in my life. I realllr really really want you to make a third book and I think a lot of people do to. So keep up the amazing books and hopefully you make the turf book

  10. Bethany if u write a third book to the stung series I will problem scream and cry tears of joy I hope u make a third book so bad I love ur work

  11. I’m a little concerned for your child right now… it sounds like a really good new series you are doing and I can’t wait for the third stung book to come out. Do you have a title for it? And has anyone expressed interest for a movie yet? Love the books and please keep writing!

  12. The new book could be called Tamed, I saw that. It would be cool. Or it could be called New World. Just me and my thoughts…

  13. Hi. I just wanted to say that I REALLY loved the Stung series. A lot of girls at our school have read it. We are all VERY excited to read the next one that comes out next year. I also have a question: Do you have any tips for writing a Si-fi kind of book like stung? Thank you 🙂

  14. PLEASE make a third book for stung! I enjoyed the series so much I teared up at the end of cured :’). And the story and plot is so great, tied in with romance, easily making it one of the best series i have ever read.
P.S. Kevin is such a hottie XD
P.P.S. A movie for this series would be nice too :3
